Our ministry journey
Several years ago, if you’d asked what Anthea and I, I would have told you that Anthea is a book-keeper accountant and I’m a copywriter. Today, I would tell you that both of us are in full-time Christian ministry. It’s not something either of us ever planned; it’s the way that we’ve been led and things have worked out, and you can support our ministry.
We wear several hats. We’re Sozo facilitators, teaching and training other potential and actual church teams in this wonderful ministry, as well as running our own team of about 20 lovely Sozo folk. With our fellow Sozo facilitator, Liz Gregg, we’re the founders of the Sozo for Couples ministry, again teaching and training other Sozo teams how to minister Sozo for Couples, helping couples hear from God about their relationship and marriage. We also offer post-Sozo coaching, with Coaching for Purpose, and something Anthea has developed simply called ‘Wonderfully Free’ sessions, a mix of Sozo and counselling. We also work with and support various church leadership teams both in the UK and overseas.
And then there are the books, five so far, with more in the pipeline. And there are many things we would like to do, such as marriage retreats, couples weekends and generally helping Christian marriage to be everything it should be.
It all takes money. As you can see, we have a heart to empower and equip others, and the support we get from you allows us to do all the above and more, especially if more money is available. We regularly receive invitations to teach and train from overseas, but have to turn these down through a lack of funding.
It also enables us to receive further ongoing training ourselves.
